Turning Pointe Studio

Homeschool classes begin September 7th, 2010 with Karla Eull.  Come and enjoy the fine art of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theater, and Hip-hop while fulfilling ARTS/PE requirements for homeschool students.

Fall 1 session runs from September 7-October 19:

Creative Dance: Tuesday, 12:30pm - 1:15pm;
$66/session
Dance for children ages 3 up to 5. Explores music,  
movements from which all dance developed, imagination and coordination. 
Girls in this class should wear pink ballet shoes (not from Target) and 
any color leotard and tights. Boys should wear a t-shirt or sweatshirt, 
sweat shorts, bike shorts or sweat pants, and black ballet shoes (not 
from Target).

Recreational Dance for 5-7 year olds
Tuesday, 12:30pm - 1:30pm, $78/session
Dance for children ages 5-6 or for those
who have successfully completed Creative Dance.
Introduction to basic ballet terms, steps, positions and techniques.
Tap and jazz steps and combinations as well as choreography!

Tap/Jazz  7-9 year olds:
 Tuesday, 1:30pm - 2:30 pm, $88/session
Training for children ages 7-9 or for those who have
successfully completed the fundamental level, or by instructor permission.
 Students will begin building strength, developing proper alignment, and a
better understanding of basic dance elements.

Jazz/Tap 10-12 year olds:
Tuesday, 2:30pm - 3:30pm, $88/session
Teaching for children ages 10-12 or for those who have
mastered the requirements of Level I-or by instructor permission.
Students should have a solid understanding of dance terms, techniques and steps. Strength and 
alignment continues to be encouraged in each of the dancers! Students will be expected to grasp 
more difficult concepts.
